Brown Butter Soy Rice Crispy Treats


  • 8 tbsp butter (unsalted)
  • 2 tbsp CinSoy Soy Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice 
  • 20 ounces marshmallows
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 10 ounces rice cereal
  • CinSoy Soy Sauce Salt 


  1. Melt butter and cook until browned and nutty. Remove from heat and add soy sauce and lemon juice.
  2. Add marshmallows and vanilla extract.
  3. Heat over low, stirring constantly, until mostly melted and cohesive.
  4. Pour in the rice cereal and stir until combined.
  5. Pour mixture into a parchment lined pan (size depending on the thickness you like best!).
  6. Using an oil sprayed rubber spatula (or your hands) - press down to help the mixture form to the pan.
  7. Sprinkle with CinSoy Soy Sauce Salt. 
  8. Let set for about an hour before cutting and enjoying!
