Cornmeal Crusted Savory Tofu

  • 1 block CinSoy Tofu
  • 1 tbsp sage
  • 1 tbsp thyme
  • 1 tbsp rosemary
  • 1/2 tsp Soy Sauce Salt
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/3 cup cornmeal
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup plant milk
  1. Remove tofu from water and slice into 1/2 inch slices. 
  2. In a food processor -pulse spices and herbs until finely chopped. Add in cornmeal and pulse to combine.
  3. Set up a breading station - a bowl of each cornstarch, milk and cornmeal mixture. 
  4. Dredge the tofu in cornstarch, dip in milk and then pat the cornmeal mixture onto the tofu. 
  5. Pan fry, air fry or bake until crispy!
