Cornmeal Crusted Savory Tofu
- 1 block CinSoy Tofu
- 1 tbsp sage
- 1 tbsp thyme
- 1 tbsp rosemary
- 1/2 tsp Soy Sauce Salt
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/3 cup cornmeal
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1/2 cup plant milk
- Remove tofu from water and slice into 1/2 inch slices.
- In a food processor -pulse spices and herbs until finely chopped. Add in cornmeal and pulse to combine.
- Set up a breading station - a bowl of each cornstarch, milk and cornmeal mixture.
- Dredge the tofu in cornstarch, dip in milk and then pat the cornmeal mixture onto the tofu.
- Pan fry, air fry or bake until crispy!
