Miso Maple Mushroom Jam
- 1 pound mushrooms - thinly sliced
- 1 yellow onion - julienned
- 3 cloves garlic - minced
- Black pepper to taste
- Pinch of chili flakes
- 1.5 tbsp CinSoy Small Batch Miso
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- Sauté onions in oil until caramelized.
- Add mushrooms and cook until browned and tender.
- Add garlic, black pepper and chili flakes and cook until fragrant.
- Add miso, maple syrup and balsamic vinegar with a splash of water. Mix and then allow to simmer on low heat until thick and syrupy.
- Taste and adjust seasoning to your liking.
