Rice Cooker Umami Mushroom Rice
- 1 1/2 cup Planet Rice California BlondeRi ce
- 1 1/4 cup water
- 2 tbsp CinSoy Soy Sauce
- 2 tbsp Mirin
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- Pinch of white pepper
- 2 cloves garlic (grated)
- 1 inch ginger (grated)
- 8 ounces mushrooms (whatever kind you like!)
- CinSoy Chili Crisp and sliced scallions for topping
- Add all ingredients besides mushrooms and chili crisp to your rice cooker. Stir to combine.
- Slice or tear mushrooms into bite sized pieces and place on top of the rice mixture. Do not stir!
- Turn the rice cooker on and let the mixture cook.
- When it finishes - stir in the mushrooms.
- Plate and top with a drizzle of chili crisp and some sliced scallions.
- Enjoy!
