Sticky Sesame Glazed Tofu

 

  • 1 block CinSoy Tofu - firm or extra firm
  • 3 tbsp honey 
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar 
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil 
  • 2 tbsp CinSoy Soy Sauce
  • 1 pinch red chili flakes
  • oil for frying
Topping:
  • Scallions
  • Sesame Seeds 

 

  1. Remove the tofu from it's package and wrap in a paper towel. Gently squeeze to remove water. Cut into sticks.
  2. In a bowl, combine honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, CinSoy Soy Sauce and red chili flakes. 
  3. Brush the tofu sticks in the marinade. Let sit for about 30 minutes to marinate.
  4. Pour the rest of the sauce into a pan and reduce over medium heat until thick and sticky. Set aside.
  5. Fry the tofu on all sides until crisp and golden brown.
  6. Drizzle or brush with the sticky sauce.
  7. Top with toasted sesame seeds and sliced scallions. Enjoy!
