Toasted Sesame Dressing

  • 3 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp mayonaise 
  • 2 tbsp CinSoy Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 1/2 tsp toasted sesame oil 
  • 1 tbsp water
  1. Add sesame seeds to a pan and toast, stirring often to ensure evenness, until golden brown. 
  2. Grind the seeds in a mortar and pestle or blitz in a blender. You are looking for a meal consistency with some whole seeds, not a full powder or paste. 
  3. Add the rest of the ingredients to a bowl or a jar. Shake or whisk until combined. Taste for seasoning and adjust to your preference. Some prefer a more sweet or more tart dressing and you can't go wrong here. 
  4. Drizzle the dressing on a green, cabbage or cucumber salad. Enjoy!
