Tofu Parmesan
- 1 block CinSoy Tofu
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Soy Sauce Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1/4 c milk
- 1/2 c flour
- Fresh mozzerella
- Parmesan cheese
- Tomato Sauce
- Pasta for serving
- Remove tofu from container, slice into 4 pieces - see the video for details, and set on a towel to drain.
- Set up a 3 bowl dredging station- flour, milk and breadcrumbs. In the breadcrumbs mix in the dried spices.
- Dredge the tofu in flour, milk and then breadcrumbs. Make sure to pat the breadcrumbs onto the tofu.
- Pan fry over medium heat on both sides until golden brown on each side.
- Set onto a rack lined sheet tray. Spoon some tomato sauce on each piece and top with a slice of mozzarella and a sprinkle of parmesan cheese.
- Broil until bubbly and top with fresh basil. Serve over pasta and enjoy!
