Tofu Parmesan

  • 1 block CinSoy Tofu 
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder 
  • Soy Sauce Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 c milk
  • 1/2 c flour 
  • Fresh mozzerella 
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Tomato Sauce 
  • Pasta for serving

 

 

  1. Remove tofu from container, slice into 4 pieces - see the video for details, and set on a towel to drain.
  2. Set up a 3 bowl dredging station- flour, milk and breadcrumbs. In the breadcrumbs mix in the dried spices. 
  3. Dredge the tofu in flour, milk and then breadcrumbs. Make sure to pat the breadcrumbs onto the tofu.
  4. Pan fry over medium heat on both sides until golden brown on each side. 
  5. Set onto a rack lined sheet tray. Spoon some tomato sauce on each piece and top with a slice of mozzarella and a sprinkle of parmesan cheese.
  6. Broil until bubbly and top with fresh basil. Serve over pasta and enjoy!
